「Homework」係不可數名詞，唔可以用「numbers」（數量）嚟修飾，應該用「amount」。同一道理，advice 亦冇複數，動詞跟返單數用 is。

中文冇可數同不可數之分 ——「功課」、「資料」、「意見」都可以講「好多」。英文分得好死：呢啲字永遠單數，前面唔加 a，要數就用 a piece of／an amount of。改嘅時候記住成組一齊記：homework、information、advice、knowledge、equipment、furniture。
